Mai Nakanishi is performer, choreographer, Chinese calligrapher, and free lance artist in Tokyo, Japan.  She is native Beijing, began her dance training in classic ballet and Chinese folk dance with her twin sister, Lorelei Chang at age three and attended various dance institutions in China including the Guang Dong Dance University, and became one of the first of modern dance pioneers in China in the modern company in Guang Zhou, China. After moving to Japan, she started to study Ballroom dance and became professional ballroom dancer and certified teacher, She has won the Japanese national championship and is A professional athlete in Japan. Her over ten years of teaching Ballroom dance experience has brought her many students of all ages. Besides that, Mai is a very active performer who travels nationally and internationally to continue share her passion of dance & calligraphy with the world.
